Prepare

11. Make sure the part of the diaper between your baby's legs is spread out as wide as possible to look comfortable. Too much bunching in this area can cause chafing and discomfort.

12. Secure the sides of the diaper with tabs. Diapers should fit snugly but not so tight that they get caught. Make sure the label is not stuck to your baby's skin.

13. Check to make sure the diaper completely covers baby's bottom and is not too tight around the legs or belly area. Make sure the edges of the diaper are not tucked in.
